Attention members who have an IL license: The state is requiring sexual harassment and opioid training before renewal in a year. Our awesome membership chair, Kris, found some online options to complete this training.
New requirements
- 3 hours safe opioid prescribing (applies if you have a controlled substance registration)
- 1 hour sexual harassment prevention training
- Sexual harassment prevention training Webinar on Dec. 19th (coming up soon!!) Email IDHR about it to get more details as they set it up
- Safe Opioid Prescribing (IL hasn’t listed any of their own training webinars yet.)
- AVMA webinar – free to members, $25 to nonmembers – 1 CE hour
- Another potential AVMA webinar – $15 for members, $30 for nonmembers – 1 CE hour
- UIUC webinars – course I is free (you have to register for an account, but no charge); courses II-III are $45 each – each course is 1 CE hour
- VetBloom webinar – $60 for 1.5 hours of RACE approved CE on use/prescription of opioids in small animals
- VETgirl webinar – free to members, $50 to nonmembers – 2 hours CE
