I’m looking for someone that is interested in getting to know clients and patients so that they can create individualized treatment plans and tailor their experience to what works best for them.  We have long appointment times (30-45 minutes for regular appointments) and typically do drop-off sick patients so we can take our time doing workups and having discussions with clients. We ensure that all their questions get answered and we have time to be methodical with our diagnoses.  This schedule also works great for newer graduates that may be interested in mentorship as there is no pressure to get that appointment out the door if you have questions or need help. We are very well-staffed which means support staff discusses all preventative health care with clients, takes histories, TPR patients, phlebotomy, rads, places catheters, premed, induces, and maintains anesthesia, and everything else that does not require a DVM degree.  Dr. Taylor and I do exams, diagnose, prescribe treatments, do surgeries and procedures, and write medical records.  We stay busy being doctors so, on production, we are paid as doctors should be paid for their time.

We have a very flexible schedule and make it work for the doctor.  If Dr. Taylor needs off to attend a child’s kindergarten play then I work or we shut down for appointments and use the time to catch up on other things.  Period.  I have worked every Christmas Eve because Dr. T has children at home and mine are grown and I can.
