March 25, 2019

Dr. Michael R. Lappin, DVM, PhD, DACVIM

In this 2 hour lecture series, Dr. Lappin’s case examples will be used to demonstrate how the use of diets, with or without probiotic supplementation, can be used to improve clinical outcomes in a variety of internal medicine problems. Specific syndromes discussed will include non-specific diarrhea, antibiotic associated diarrhea, parasitic diarrhea, use of a probiotic to enhance puppy responses to vaccines, use of a probiotic to enhance feline immunity to FHV-1, importance of quality control in selection of probiotics for clinical use, and more!

Dr. Lappin graduated from Oklahoma State University and then completed an internship, internal medicine residency, and PhD program in Parasitology at the University of Georgia.
