Dr. Ghulam Malik is a 1966 graduate of the University of Veterinary Sciences of Lahore Pakistan. After graduating, he worked as a large animal veterinarian under Pakistan’s Livestock Department. After moving to the United States, he worked as a histologist in Rockville, MD and completed his internship for the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG). After becoming licensed, he moved to Missouri and worked for the Humane Society for six years. In 1986, Dr. Malik started his own small animal practice in Dellwood, MO. He still works part-time at Dellwood Animal Clinic and plans to retire at the end of 2016. Dr. Malik earned GSLVMA Lifetime Member Status in 2006, and is also a member of the AVMA and MoVMA….

Dr. John DeGarmo is a 1966 graduate of the University of Missouri. In addition to his DVM, he also holds a B.S. in agriculture. Dr. DeGarmo worked for Alfred Moeller for the first three years following graduation, and then worked for Cap Eschenroder at Yorkshire Animal Hospital for five years. He then opened Crestwood Animal Hospital and semi-retired after 25 years. Until retirement in 2003, he worked with John Arthur at Pro Pet Center. In addition to being a member of the GSLVMA, he is also a member of AVMA, MoVMA and NEVMA. In addition to receiving Lifetime Membership in 2006, Dr. DeGarmo is also a past recipient of the St. Louis VMA Veterinarian of the Year….
