Subject: Radiology Speaker: Jason Brumitt, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Brumitt grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Lindbergh High School. He spent 13 years in Columbia, attending the University of Missouri for both his biology and veterinary medical degrees. He remained at the University of Missouri, completing a 1 year rotating internship in veterinary small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Brumitt was an associate in private practice at Green Hills Veterinary Hospital in Moberly, Missouri, for 2 years. Dr. Brumitt then moved to Washington State to complete a 3-year residency in diagnostic imaging. During his time at Washington State, he also completed a Masters degree in veterinary science. He has two daughters, one wife, and two dogs.
Principles of Radiology – 2 hour lecture on radiographic technique and positioning with clinical examples. This lecture will be helpful for both veterinary technicians and DVMs.
2 Hours CE credit
Please note: Dr. Brumitt is happy for audience members to presubmit questions for him to go over (cases, techniques) during the 30 minutes prior to the event (especially veterinary technicians!). If you have questions, please put them in the “notes” section as you register for the meeting. If you think of them later, please email our secretary, Dr. Betsy Marziani at bmarziani@live.com and include “GSLVMA” or “Brumitt” in the subject line.
If your practice wants to send multiple support staff members, you can register as many staff members as you want at once using a hospital email account (not associated with a GSLVMA membership). Please put in the total number of staff members and then also list their names/email addresses in the notes section – we need that for the sign in sheets and CE certificates. (If you would prefer to send a check, please contact Dr. Clements at kclementsdvm@gmail.com or 314-744-9479.)
